But today, even the experts are confused as to who owns what. In his film, RiP! A Remix Manifesto, filmmaker Brett Gaylor explores issues of copyright in the information age, mashing up the media landscape of the 20th century and shattering the wall between users and producers.

  1. I guess this reinforces the notion that we live in a new world! What was once under the exclusive province of corporations is now increasingly becoming the purview of the people. The democratization of branding & "corporate assets" is under way in full force!

    Ironically the Ad directly following the Disney mash-up segment was for Disney! LOL!
